The best of two wonderful worlds.
I went to the Alameda County Fair last weekend and took a bunch of photos. Since I’m thinking of food right now, I thought I’d give you six ideas for lunch if you’re heading to the fair this weekend.

Thanks yet again Benita for sharing your Livermore photo! She has more great photos on her Flickr page. Go ahead and follow her on Twitter too!
We just added a new Space! section to Livermore Rocks! It includes…
- An International Space Stations (ISS) sightings schedule. It’ll let you know when and where to look as the ISS passes over Livermore. It’s fun to watch.
- A Night Sky Map as the stars and planets look from Livermore. The map is interactive and updates every second. It’s a neat tool to see what’s above us right now.
Check it out by clicking the Space! button in the menu above.
What a deal… Only six bucks!

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Is that really true? I’m not sure as it’s the subject of an endless debate. What I do know is that I love my bacon and eggs.
If you’re looking for a good traditional breakfast that won’t break the bank, Country Waffles is the place to go. There are two locations in Livermore: One next to Lucky’s at Concannon and Holmes, the other on North Vasco right off 580. The Vasco location is on my side of town and is stop #19 of The Great Livermore Restaurant Challenge.
